Before getting a spray tan, here's what you need to know.
24 hours before your tan
The night before you tanning appointment, plan on taking your “hot girl” shower. This intels hair washing, shaving, exfoliating head to toe and moisturizing your entire body afterwards. Ending with a smooth and moisturized canvas that is ready to evenly absorb your tan.
4 hours before your tan
Prepare by giving yourself a body shower using your tan-safe body wash. Ensure to rinse off all the soap thoroughly as any residue can affect the tan setting. Avoid applying any products to your skin such as makeup, skincare items, SPF, deodorant, or perfume. Opt for comfortable dark-colored loose clothing for your spray tan outfit, including long pants, a long shirt, and open-toed shoes. Remember to leave your jewelry at home!

What to expect at your appointment
Our initial step involves a personalized consultation about your skin type to tailor your ideal tan. When the moment arrives, slip into the disposable undergarments provided or opt for your own undergarments, swimsuit, or choose to go all natrual for a tan without any tan lines - the decision is entirely yours. I recommend wearing underwear for a comprehensive before-and-after comparison.
Upon completion of your session, you will receive aftercare recommendations and a timetable for your initial rinse. Remember, use lukewarm water only for rinsing - avoid using soap or vigorous scrubbing (gently pat dry instead). Your tan is still developing, so adhere to these shower guidelines.
After 24 hours, feel free to resume your regular shower routine, including shampooing. However, continue to pat dry and avoid exfoliation until you are prepared to bid farewell to your tan.
For maintaining your luminous glow, opt for products that are sulfate, paraben, and mineral oil-free. I highly recommend NATIVE products, available at Target, to preserve the brilliance of your tan.
